The Studio at AC Madden Photography: Open House Celebration
When I officially created my LLC in July 2021, I set several goals for AC Madden Photography that I wanted to accomplish in my first five years of business.
At the top of my list was to open my own studio by the end of 2024. I wanted my future clients to have a warm, inviting, and stress-free environment where they would feel right at home, and receive a gallery of images that capture my natural, bright and airy aesthetic. Just over two years later and one year ahead of “schedule”, I am THRILLED to announce that I’ve opened The Studio at AC Madden Photography!
I wanted to throw a party to both celebrate this accomplishment and also say thank you to my friends, family, and clients who’ve supported me in the first three years of ACMP. After months of planning and with the help of many people in the days leading up to the Open House (thank you Joe, mom, Rhonda, Mark, Kelly Anne, and Katie!), I officially opened my Studio on Saturday, November 3rd!
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the Studio Open House captured by my talented friend, Ellie Nelson of Ellie Nelson Photography.
I couldn’t end this without thanking my husband Joe for all of his support in making this dream come true for me. When we bought our little house in 2020 we had the idea to close off our carport so that each of us could have our own office, with this new space being his (this was in the VERY early days of ACMP); about six months in to our contractor research/permitting, I asked if maybe I could instead use it as my photography studio. He was immediately on board, and never once lamented the loss of his man cave/office (lol). Even though the space would now be “mine”, Joe was the one who researched contractors in the beginning phase, dealt with the excruciatingly and unnecessarily long permitting phase, and eventually took over the entire project - looping me in only when needed (like choosing the perfect shade of “white” which he admittedly knew better than to attempt himself, ha!) - and stayed on top of our contractor who at times made us both want to rip our hair out, throw up our arms, and just quit the whole project. Thank God we saw it through, but I literally could not have done it without you, Joe! Thank you for always believing me and supporting my dreams. I love you!
